Get involved
Why should you donate to VST?
- We rely on donations from individuals. These make up around 40 percent of our income and help us attract government funding.
- You can make an enormous difference by donating even a small amount (one pound goes a long way in India), e.g. £17 would cure a TB patient, £60 would help a woman set up a small business.
- We support experienced, stable and committed partner organisations regarded as experts in their fields by the Indian Government, UK and European funders and other NGOs.
- We have a higher than average knowledge of our partners, the locality and the people who benefit from our programmes.
- We spend the absolute minimum on administration.
- Supporters are welcome to visit our partners.

Leave a legacy
Remembering the Village Service Trust in your Will is an opportunity to support our work into the future with a donation which you may not have been able to afford in your lifetime.
In the following pages, you will find a brief guide to making your Will. Your legacy will help to ensure that the work that Dora Scarlett started will continue and gather strength into the future. Thank you.
